SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Socio-economic development services are designed to enable clients engage with stakeholders from the initial planning, design through to the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the conditions in company’s area of influence. We provide Clients with technical expertise in the following:

- Mobilising community or voluntary groups to participate at a range of levels from providing advice to co-designing the process.
- Assist businesses in the identification, mapping and analysis of stakeholders Develop frameworks based on best practice geared toward meaningful community engagement.
- Produce practical guides and regularly provide training and support to community organisations and public bodies.

The gap between the haves and have nots continues to grow in most of the developing countries and the vulnerable groups are increasing, as a result more social challenges are experienced in the communities. We help our clients to identify and have targeted programs to empower the vulnerable groups.
- Engage with stakeholders to co-create response programs
- Develop response plans for welfare and wellness programs-
- Identify vulnerable groups within communities ( People living with disability, Elderly people, Child headed households, victims of GBV and other form of violence)

Strategic communication enables the company to communicate the high-level organisation mission and key activities that are of value to the audience. MINE CLOSURE SOCIAL SERVICE
- Identification of key stakeholders within the community for effective engagement and profiling the community’s key socio-economic development needs.
- Assessing the impact of operations and addressing the socio-economic impact of the mine operation in case of closure.
- Scenario development to pinpoint possible events and develop the response strategy e.g., Livelihood strategy based on the scenario, including specific intervention objectives, targets, and responsibilities.
- Develop operational plan to implement the response strategy and the support plan that sets out the administrative, logistical, and other supporting requirements of a response, including partnerships
- Preparedness plan with budget proposing actions to improve readiness and responses to specific and general crises and the funding thereof to implement the agreed activities.
- Provide assistance to build resilience into the livelihood assets of mineworkers and their dependents, as well as strategies to ensure favorable outcomes.
